An earthquake arises when the stress on the edges overcomes the friction which releases energy in the form of waves that travel through the Earth's crust that causes the shaking that we feel. In Nepal, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh and at 25th April 2015 12:58pm a massive earthquake struck with an intensity of 7.4 at the Richter scale. At that time, I was watching television. My chair started shaking and all of my family ran to the ground. All the people of the colony stood there till the earthquake was gone. After that day, we went to our village, because fields were in plenty. People had to sleep outside their houses. I couldn't sleep that night because of fear. It came again and again by which my school was also closed. Many people died and many got injured. Buildings were broken and damaged. Roads also cracked. In a tourist place of Nepal, a large 9 large floor tower named Dharhara tower (140 ft. high). It was completely broken. Some countries also gave help Our Prime Minister also gave money to rebuilt the buildings. Again 17 days later, a milder earthquake occurred in Nepal and Bihar on May 13 at 12:48pm.
