   I, Md Samim Hassan am now a research scholar at Indian Institution of Technology Delhi. I did my BSc, MSc and M. Tech from Aligarh Muslim University. Like all Aligarhians I am also very proud to be an Aligarhian. AMU taught me a lot of things-how to succeed, how to face problems, how to start over after a series of failures. I believe there are three things are most essential to get success. First one is hard work. There is no way out to get success without hard work. But one thing is essential in this context that the hard work should be in proper direction. In this content the role of a teacher is vital to show the right direction. Second one is consistency. Without this success is very difficult. Third one is determination. A student should be very much determined what he wants to do and focus on this. In my student career I always focus in these three things. Many times come in life when we do not succeed even though we deserve it, in that time one must be confident and always believe in themselves that we can do. I have good fortune that in my bad time when I was completely depressed and had lost faith on myself, I got very good support from my teachers, family and friends. I believe that if a student is a hard worker, has a good analyzing power, is and consistent, believes in himself then success is sure to come.
