   You might hear about players like Neymar, Messi, Christiano Ronaldo etc. who played in the last World cup. Let's discuss some Club football tournament and leagues famous world wide and other side of a footballer, Mesut Ozil (Germany; currently playing in an English club-Arsenal FC). The Football Association Challenge Cup, commonly known as the FA Cup, is the oldest football club competition in the world (founded in 1871) which is played on knockout basis in England. It is the tournament where sub-standard team become "giant-killers" by defeating top clubs. Arsenal is the current holders, having beaten Hull City 3–2 after extra time in the 2014 final. With their 11th FA Cup title, Arsenal is now level with Manchester United for the greatest number of title victories in the history of the competition.
   The UEFA Champions League is the most prestigious annual club competition in European football, introduced in 1992 in its current format replacing European Cup which was founded in 1955. Real Madrid (Spain) are the most successful winners of the competition (10 times) and the current holder. Raul Gonzalez was all-time top scorer (71 goals) but Messi (Barcelona) as well as C. Ronaldo (Real Madrid) have equaled only in Nov. 2014.
The four most popular professional country-wise league competition operated as round robin league format among top 20 clubs of the respective country are as follows according to ranking (UEFA's league coefficient)

La Liga (The League-The Spanish League)
Founded in 1929 and officially named for sponsorship reasons, Liga BBVA (BBVA League) is the strongest league in Europe over the past five years according to UEFA's league coefficient. Real Madrid (32 times) and Barcelona (22 times) have dominated the championship. However, La Liga has seen other champions, including, Atlético Madrid (10 times; Current holder), Athletic Bilbao (8 times), Valencia (6 times), Real Sociedad (2 times).

The English Premier League (EPL)
Officially known as Barclays Premier League, since it is currently sponsored by Barclays Bank. Each club plays 38 matches and run from August to May. Originally founded in 1888 as Football League and then changed in its current form as EPL since 1992. Manchester United have 20 titles, the most of any cluband its rival Liverpool are second with 18 (However, have not won EPL or since 1990). Liverpool dominated during the 1970s and 1980s, while United dominated in the 1990s and 2000s under Sir Alex Ferguson. Arsenal is third; their 13 titles all came after 1930. Everton (nine) have enjoyed success throughout their history, and both Aston Villa (seven) and Sunderland (six) secured the majority of their titles before World War I.

Serie A
A professional league competition for Italian football clubs has been operating for over eighty years since 1929-30 and is considered the best league in the world in the '90s and has produced the highest number of European Cup finalists (a record 26 times and winning the title 12 times). Juventus, Milan and Internazionale are the most successful clubs and have won the title for 30, 18 and 18 times, respectively.

Bundesliga German football league
Founded in 1962, contested by 18 teams. FC Bayern Munich has won the title the maximum number of times (23). Other champions are Borussia Dortmund, Hamburger SV, Werder Bremen, Borussia Monchengladbach and VfB Stuttgart. It is the number one football league in the world in terms of average attendance; its average fans per game during the 2011 - 12 season was the second highest of any sports league in the world and is broadcasted on television in over 200 countries.

   Other side of a footballer - Mesut Ozil, a Turkish-German player Who played in the 2010 (lost to Spain in the semifinal) and 2014 (Winner) world cup for his country- Germany. In 2013, he moved to Arsenal from Real Madrid with a record fee which made him the most expensive German football player of all time. He is a practicing Muslim, recites Quranaic verses before every match and keeps fasting on non-match-day. He received the Bambi award in 2010 for being a prime example of successful integration within German society. As part of the Big Shoe project, Ozil donated his 2014 World Cup winnings to pay for 23 sick Brazilian children to have surgery as a "personal thank you for the hospitality of the people of Brazil.
